I spent my last night in Prince Edward Island in a park called Basin Head. I was hoping to catch the morning sunrise but nothing developed of it so I fired up my camp stove and made myself some porridge and coffee for breakfast. As I ate and reminisced about the last three days I noticed a little red fox slowly creeping its way toward me. Once it had reached its comfort zone it lay down and watched me eat waiting for a few scraps to be sent its way. We had a good talk (albeit one sided) as I tossed it bits of muffin I had left over from the day before and when it was satisfied it just up and walked away stopping part way to turn around and yipped as if to say thank you and wandered off into the bush.
