Bay of Fundy
Between the smell of the seaweed and the rising tide that was rapidly cutting of my exit off the beach, this image was definitely a labour of love. I needed to find my composition quickly and as I searched the sun lit up the rocks in front of me creating a dramatic scene contrasting the fast moving storm clouds and unexpected peaceful seas. I did get my feet a little wet but it was worth it in the end.

Souris Lighthouse
As a Valentine's treat while I was away from home, my wife Naomi sent me a LensBall to play around with while I was out taking pictures. In this shot of the lighthouse in Souris, Prince Edward Island I was able to capture the detail of the perimeter fence and the lighthouse in behind and contrast the two by using a sepia finish with the colour in the ball to highlight the lighthouse.
