There are across the world old, run down and abandoned buildings that are left to rot and fall back to the earth while we rebuild around them. To had the opportunity to photograph a part of our history and preserve the memory of what past generations have endured to give us the lives we have.
I stumbled on this cottage on an Easter long weekend road trip in 2018 to Prince Edward Island. It is located just before the Confederation Bridge that joins New Brunswick and the island. I wish I could have met someone that could give some insight to the history of the building but it was still enjoyable to spend some time here and imagine the lives of the family that lived here.
